I'm currently attending Northeastern University to earn my bachelor's degree in pharmacy. My minors are Chinese and biology. I started tutoring as a high school student, assisting younger students in various subjects. While assisting students in a course material, I also work on their study and organization skills. I like to help students achieve their personal and academic goals, and I believe all students can reach their goals if they stay motivated and put in hard work. When I work with a student, I like to explain concepts by breaking them down into easier to understand segments. I then help the student build these segments back together along with other concepts to understand the subject as a whole. I know what students are going through when they have difficulty understanding something, so I identify where students are strong and where they need help. I love to help students reach the moment where they light up because they work through learning obstacles and they now have pride in their understanding. I can help students with elementary and middle school math, chemistry, biology, Mandarin Chinese, pre-algebra, algebra, test preparation for the ACT and SAT, and other related subjects. In my spare time, I enjoy ballroom dancing, astrophysics, music, drinking coffee, and reading.
