I'm currently attending Northeastern University for degrees in biology and health sciences. I spent three years working in a biology lab assisting with research, and I've spent the past year working full-time in research and clinical settings for a Boston hospital. I started tutoring about five years ago, when I had the opportunity to teach nutrition to teenagers and children, instructing them in how to make healthy food choices. As a tutor, my specialty is science, but I have a broad range of academic interests. I focus on teaching students by explaining topics in easier ways and helping students connect ideas together. This allows students to visualize the full concept of the subject and apply their knowledge throughout. I'm looking forward to tutoring chemistry, physics, microbiology, English, ACT prep, PSAT prep, SAT prep, middle school math, anatomy, biology, anatomy and physiology, ESL, and others. In my free time, I like to read and run.
