I'm a tutor who is based out of Boston, Massachusetts, where I enjoy playing sports, cheering on the Celtics, and practicing photography when I'm not in the classroom working with students. As a tutor, I'm able to provide my students with lessons in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in Mandarin Chinese, standardized test preparation, and math, amongst other things. I know how to help students improve in areas that they're struggling with because I've had to overcome my own academic struggles. One example of this is when I took the SAT. The first time I took the exam, I wasn't happy with the score that I got. So, I came up with a lesson plan for myself and spent the next two months working hard to get my score up. When I took the SAT the second time, I improved my score by 200 points. I'm a flexible tutor who is able to provide students with lessons in an online environment. I'm extremely passionate about helping others learn. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when I'm able to help one of my students finally have a breakthrough in a subject they've been struggling with.
