-Tutored students in math during high school -Corrected classmates papers -Scored very high on math and writing section on SAT -I would like to be a tutor because I love helping others achieve success. I feel that one on one sessions and small group sessions help a student to focus and understand a subject better. -During high school I took an online teaching course. This course involved creating lesson plans, communicating with peers about lesson plans, and going into classrooms to teach the lessons. -I have been working at a day care/summer camp for seven years. During the school year I would work part time initiating games, organizing group play, and creating educational group projects. During the summer camp program I work full time and am usually in charge of the older group. My daily task include organizing educational activities, reading books, free play, working one on one with students, etc. -In high school, I was a peer education leader. My job included teaching freshman guidance classes and being a peer mentor. My tasks included creating lesson plans for each guidance class about what to discuss and go over, organizing the peer mediation groups, and assisting in the community building activities.
