I received my BA in German language and literature from the University Bonn, Germany. I am currently a PhD student at Cornell University.
Experience
As a native German speaker, I am able to help those looking to improve their conversational skills. But as a PhD candidate, I also bring the academic skills necessary for university and college level German. I am passionate about languages and have studied French, Spanish, Ancient Greek, and Latin. I have years of experience teaching both beginners and advanced students in group or private classes. Dependent on your goals, we can focus on improving your grammar, reading, listening, speaking or writing skills. During my studies of German Language and Literature in Germany, I also worked as a proofreader and editor for an international, university journal. My knowledge of the finer points of German language is profound and I really enjoy sharing my skills!
