I am located in Allston, Massachusetts. I have attended Colby College and Boston University. I believe that extremely smart individuals and those who work extremely hard are the two kinds of students who earn high grades. I am one of those extremely hard workers, and I know what it's like to struggle.As a tutor, I want to make it easier for students to understand topics with which they struggle, so they don't have to spend such a large amount of time trying to decipher information. In my view, a step-by-step approach to problems makes it easier for students to succeed in figuring things out.I can work with students in Mandarin Chinese 1 through 4. I can also tutor students in Advanced Placement Chinese Language and Culture, GRE test preparation, and other standardized test preparation. I appreciate it when students work hard, and strive to help students understand complex topics.When I'm not working with students, I enjoy taking photographs and spending time with friends.
