Experience
I have enjoyed teaching and mentoring young adults and children most of my life. In high school and college, I worked with children ages 6 through 16 at summer camps. I led teens on adventure trips throughout New England for AYF Merrowvista. It gives me great joy to see children grow into their personalities. I look forward to helping your child improve their scholastic skills. I tutor many subjects, including German, essay editing, grammar and mechanics, psychology, music history, music theory, piano, voice, music, and writing. In addition, I can help with students with college essays. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in German at Bates College, and would like to pursue a graduate German Studies program in the future. Currently, I am studying for the GRE and applying to graduate programs in German Studies. Learning languages is incredibly rewarding, and I am interested in studying this at the graduate and doctoral levels. I enjoy sound design; as an "audio nerd," I do freelance work in audio production and sound design. In my free time, I enjoy singing, German films, and speaking German.
