Experience

Due to the fact that so many students are subjected to environments not necessarily conducive to learning, I find it is imperative to propagate a fun, interesting, engaging, and stress-free learning environment during my tutoring sessions. My extensive education was completed at Saint Joseph's College and the Christian Brother's University. The education I received at these institutions has equipped me with a multitude of tools, techniques, and strategies that aid immensely in my teaching career. I have not only chosen education as my chosen vocation and career path, but I have also spent considerable time working in the career of my choice. I currently work as a teacher for ELA/SS courses at the 8th grade level at a charter school. I hold a teaching certification for ELA K-8 as well as a certification in K-12 Special Education. My specialty is helping students of all ages in ELA subjects, including Reading, Phonics, Writing, Spelling, Vocabulary, and Semantics. I am equally qualified and eager to help students with their general coursework, including homework help and test preparation. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering and coaching sports.
