Experience

I have been teaching for two years and love working with my students to help them discover how they learn. Once they know how they learn, they can use that knowledge to build a skill set that will make them self-reliant learners for years to come. I teach a number of different subjects and enjoy all of them. I work with my students to make sure they can reach their full potential. I believe a key to helping my students learn is to instill a sense of persistence in them and encourage them to keep trying as hard as they can. I think if you work hard enough, you can always overcome any difficulties you may be encountering in the learning process. I attended Boston University with an emphasis in Science. I tutor in the areas of Algebra, Middle School Math, Statistics, Trigonometry, Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Physiology, College Essays, Computer Science, Arithmetic, Nutrition, Pre-Algebra, AP Chemistry, Science, AP Physics 1, AP Biology, Technology and Computer Science, and English. I also do test preparation for the SAT, PSAT, GRE, ISEE, and SSAT. In my spare time I enjoy reading, swimming, and playing volleyball.
