Experience
I love tutoring students in the STEM courses. My specialties are teaching Chemistry, Physics, and advanced Math courses, including Calculus and Trigonometry. I have vast experience tutoring, and I began by teaching my fellow cadets in my Rutgers Army ROTC program where I took advantage of a scholarship offered to me. I have also tutored many high school students and I loved helping them tackle tough class work. When I tutor, I not only focus on helping students learn the curriculum at hand, but I also like to help them understand the subject's conceptual principles, which helps them with future assignments and courses. Aside from attending the ROTC program at Rutgers, I also earned my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Cellular and Biomolecular Engineering from the Rutgers University School of Engineering. After completing my schooling, I completed 6 months of training as an Army Reserve Officer. Before training, I held a job in Clinical Informatics. Now, I am back in school attending Boston University working toward another degree in Health Informatics. I make physical fitness a priority in my life because I feel it helps a person not only physically, but mentally as well. I love to read a great book and also enjoy watching films. I stay active by not only working out, but also skiing and surfing whenever I can squeeze it in.
