Mary I.
Private tutor in Boston, MA
Education
I attended Emmanuel College, Boston and graduated Cum Laude with a BA in History with a concentration in Native America Studies.
Experience
I tutored all four years of college with second & fifth grade, junior high, and high school. I found it to be challenging and extremely rewarding. I find it most useful to get to know a student's learning habits before jumping right into tutoring. There are seven styles of learning: visual, aural, verbal, physical, solitary, social, and logical. Once we find the specific way a student learns, we can work together to create a productive education that may not occur inside the classroom. I am licensed by the Massachusetts Educational Teaching Licenser in High School History.
