Our first lesson will be free, so you can try before you buy! Also, I can teach over Zoom for 25% less than my usual asking price ($40 > $30). If I can find three or more students who can meet at the same time, I would reduce the cost to 50%. Hobbies
I teach workshops in poetry, in particular, haiku, at Kaji Aso Studio, Boston. I love literature, especially Japanese literature, and have a background in creative writing. I am currently working on an anthology of modern Japanese haiku in English. I have lived and taught in Japan for nine years and can communicate in Japanese, but still learning, so I know what you're going through! I'm an amateur musician (guitar and singing), and love to play folk, jazz, blues, etc.
