Major in Accounting.
In September 2015 I am going to take a Master in Teaching Italian Abroad.
ExperienceI'm a native Italian guy and I have been living in Boston since August 2013.
I have been a tutor since September 2013 in various Italian Language Schools.
Moreover, I teach Italian in a school for kids (3-9 yrs old) in Boston and in other language schools for adults.
I teach Italian using books, workbooks, laboratory manual for listening and different materials like photos, images, games and online exercises.
I like tailoring my lessons on student's needs and goals.
In Italy I had experiences in teaching different subjects to young kids in their after school, or helping them with their homework.
I am very patient and careful with my students and I'd like to spread my Italian culture in the U.S.
HobbiesI like sports (especially soccer, of course!), watching movies (Italian and American), reading books and travelling in foreign countries. I like tutoring people because I'm a pragmatic person and I want them to reach their prefixed aim as soon as possible with a high level of skills and proficiency.

I've been working with Matteo for several months and it’s been fantastic. I've taken Italian lessons in the past and thought I could just jump right back into it. Matteo was very quick to diagnose my proficiency and knew that the best course of action was to do a crash-course of the basics and rebuild my fundamentals. He was definitely right. After only a couple of months, my fundamentals have improved drastically and I’m adequately prepared to take my Italian to the next level. If you have some experience, or no experience with Italian, Matteo is going to be a great teacher for you. He is passionate about teaching this language and displays a lot of patience in his teaching methods.
