I just finished up my tutoring sessions with Corey, and cannot speak more highly of him. My goal was to get a better handle on the quantitative (math) section of the GRE, and Corey was more than prepared and ready to take on my questions and concerns. He does provide his own study materials, which was extremely helpful. His was of breaking down each question was logical and easy to follow. He is very patient (don't be afraid to ask questions!) and friendly. Highly recommend!

Terrific! I hadn't taken Statistics or a College Math class for years and I had my doubts head into an advanced stats class. Corey was a huge help and the sessions were fun, informative and well worth the money. I actually enjoyed doing the weekly homework!! This was my first experience with a tutor and it exceeded my expectations.

Corey did a great job of reaching out to me right away and we were able to find a neutral location to meet no problem. Corey and I met for GMAT review and if you are willing to put some time of your own into studying Corey is a great resource because he can work through the problems in a quick-and-easy way that may not be as clear in the book's explanation. We really hit on the major topics to know in order to do well which allowed us to leverage our time. I would be glad to recommend Corey in the future.

Corey is currently tutoring me for the GMAT. He is an extremely patient teacher who takes time to tailor his sessions to his students' specific needs. I am impressed not only by his teaching skills but also by his strong command of the testing material.

Corey is extremely helpful- everything I was looking for from a tutor and more. He was able to explain some complicated chemistry 102 problems that I had previously not understood at all. A tremendous help- very nice and fun to work with, I highly recommend Corey to everyone and plan on working with him in the future.

I was searching for someone to help prepare me for the Quantitative section of my GRE, and I am so thankful I found Corey! He is very intelligent, and you can tell he has a passion for both teaching, and the material he teaches. He is very encouraging, and helped me gain confidence in the skills I had. If you need someone to sharpen your skills for a standardized test, or review skills that may have faded over time, or help you with ANY kind of studying or exam, Corey would be a wonderful choice! He was always very prepared, and very easy to contact!

Corey is an excellent tutor. He knows the subject (statistics) extremely well and he has the ability to explain in detail complex equations and make them look easy.
His notes on confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, Chi-Square Tests, Simple Linear and Multiple Regression Analysis really opened my eyes and also transformed me to a 96.40% (A) student when my class's average was just over 76%.
If you are looking for a knowledgeable tutor with high level of professionalism who cares for his students then Corey is your man!

I heard back from Corey immediately after sending the inquiry form. He has met with my daughter one time and she has recently contacted him to work with her again. This is just my inital rating. I would be happy to change it after she works with him some more. I am very satisified with his professional attitude and knowledge of the subject.

I met with Corey for an SPSS tutor session.Corey is punctual and replies to emails quickly.
He was excellent,he explained to me "step by step" how to use SPSS for my research.And he also shows you what else you can get out of it for your advantage.
I will be meeting with him again in a couple of weeks when I have my data completed.

Corey was really nice and helpful! I needed help with differential equations and he really helped simplify them for me. He even sent me some additional guides to help me later that day. I would definitely go to him again for help.

Corey is an excellent math tutor. I hired him to help me study for the math section of the GRE. Corey was not only very thorough in his teaching of concepts covered by the exam during tutoring sessions, he was truly invested in my success. He would send me additional practice tests and self-designed resources to use after the tutoring session had wrapped up for the day. Corey is also very kind, patient, and encouraging. During the exam, just when I was about to give up on a problem, I used the confidence that Corey instilled in me to get through the difficulty of a problem so I could move on without panicking to the next question. Corey's teaching-style made the often difficult concepts approachable and non-threatening, this proved to be an amazing thing since I am indeed math-phobic. I truly don't know what I would have done with out Corey's help!

Corey was very patient and helpful tutoring me in statistics.It takes me twice as long to understand questions or concepts in statistics, but Corey never complained about my slowness. I would definitely recommend Corey to other students.

Working with Corey has been a very positive experience. He is always professional, supportive, and available to answer questions. When I began my tutoring sessions, I dreaded working with SPSS. The dread quickly turned into an interest in understanding the program and its applications in research. Because Corey explains material in a way that is easy to understand, I ended up wanting to learn more than what was required for my class. Subject matter that I had studied before finally began to make sense. I highly recommend Corey as a tutor.

Corey is an outstanding math tutor (and I have worked with several - of every calibre - over the years). He began our work together by carefully assessing my skills through both discussion of my experiences with math and a brief set of test questions. Corey has deep subject matter knowledge that allows him to offer multiple approaches to working through math problems. This has been extremely helpful to me in understanding the mechanics of equations. He is also, as others have mentioned, a very patient guide for whom a barrage of questions, or the need for multiple explanations, is never a problem. Corey also does a surprising amount of preparation for our sessions, having clearly worked to build each lesson on the last. He thoughtfully introduces new concepts in a step-wise, logical way and explains where and how I can expect to use a particular method. I am not comfortable with math, but Corey makes it possible to relax and take my time in trying to understand and solve the problems we look at together.

Corey is very patient and thorough with his students. He explains each question in detail and shows you the best way to solve the problem. This makes learning a lot easier and much more efficient.Corey also goes above and beyond to give you extra material to help you in your learning. Overall a great tutor.
