Experience
A recent PhD graduate from Boston College, I am a scholar working in the areas of Philosophy of Science, Technology, Classics, Ethics, and Philosophy of Mind. I thrive on intellectual engagement, which means I devote myself to connecting with my pupils individually. Using clear, immediate examples to bring students to understand universal principles thoroughly, I challenge them to think for themselves, and to achieve beyond what they believe they can achieve. I enjoy the satisfaction my students express upon mastery of a subject, and most of all the love of learning I can cultivate in them, which will help them live a better, richer life. I have been teaching individually and in groups for over 12 years, and have taught at the university level since 2005 at Boston College, Boston University, and DePaul University in Chicago. I have lectured in five countries, and edited a literary journal and a scholarly book on Language.
