Christine E.
Private tutor in Boston, MA
Education
University of Vermont, 2010 Studio Art, Spanish, Anthropology (GPA 3.4)
Experience
I currently work as a Research Study Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Food Allergy Division. Earlier this year, I worked as a teaching intern in the Art and Social Studies departments of the Park School in Brookline, MA. I have experience teaching first grade through ninth. Additionally, I work as an independent tutor working with a grade 8 student on Social Studies material, research paper writing, general organization, and homework help. My teaching experience spurred from working as a teaching assistant at the undergraduate level with Anthropology and Studio Art classes at the University of Vermont. My experience as a teacher this past year, lead me to a desire to work with people on a more intuitive level and pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. I work well with people and have a natural ability to break down information for students in a relatable way. I am able to accomplish quite a lot with my tutees, while also creating a safe, fun relationship with them.
