Any day after 6PM
EducationI Graduated high honors from University of California - Davis with a B.S. in Physics in 2012. MA in Physics from Boston University in 2014.
I am currently a fourth year graduate student studying High Energy (Particle) Experimental Physics at Boston University. The experiment I work on is the ATLAS detector at the LHC based just outside of Geneva, Switzerland.
ExperienceI have had scattered previous private tutoring experience, taught undergraduate and graduate lab and discussion sections for my first six semesters at Boston University.
I have taken physics courses through my fourth year in graduate school. I have also taken classes in C, C++, and General Chemistry.
I have worked for two summers as a student research assistant at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, CA, and was employed for four years as a software development engineer for a Building Information Modeling consulting firm based in Seattle, WA.
I want to be a tutor to improve my ability to teach, something I am finding to be more and more important as my responsibilities grow as a graduate student. It is also a productive way to fill in the gaps in my income.
HobbiesIn the little free time that I have as a graduate student, I like to rock climb, watch football and socialize with friends. I am also a big fan of board games and video games.
