I have a BS in Sociology with a minor is Anthropology and just completed my Master in Social Work.

Experience

I have worked with children in some capacity for over ten years. Recent professional experience includes working with children at a therapeutic after school program. I taught language arts to struggling and emerging readers. I designed activities to stimulate learning and to encourage the children to have fun. One of my favorite things was to take the children to the library and teach them to utilize the librarian to connect their interests to reading materials. Currently I also tutor creative writing at a non profit program.
