Hobbies

My biggest passion in school was my research. I have been worked under a faculty mentor doing my own research project for a little more than two years. It was an experience that taught me how to problem-solve and come up with ideas on my own. At BU I was also involved in the National Society of Black Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers. I also do a lot of outreach to help kids from low-income neighborhoods who need the extra push to realize that they have the same opportunities as everyone else to succeed in whatever they want. I also played the cello for several years and am currently involved in the Inner Strength Gospel Choir on campus.
